A few men took on Deepika Padukone’s My Choice and came out with something hilarious…
Deepika Padukone might have featured in the Vogue Empower Women video My Choice thinking it would be the talk of town for the reason it was conceptualised. Well Deepika, it is the talk of the town but for all the wrong reasons. There have been many spoofs on the said video, but this particular one really makes you chuckle, guffaw and even laugh. This can easily be the most hilarious of all spoofs on Deepika Padukone’s My Choice video.
So what makes it so ridiculously funny? Or rather what makes it click more than Deepika’s video? Well, it’s pretty simple. It relies more on reality than the Homi Adajania directed video. It makes a point strongly and with stronger words that models and actresses can hardly represent the common demography. Wasn’t everyone trying to say that all along?
Yes, the video is borderline offensive but it’s all wordplay and an amusing one at that. My Choice was prompt on words but failed to impart the message. This video might make men wear it like a badge as an answer to the actress’s message and I don’t think anyone should mind.
